THE BEMA SEAT JUDGMENT: Building a Firm Foundation, pt. 8

The Bema Seat Judgment of Christ is a time and place where believers in Jesus will have their work for God's Kingdom in this life evaluated.  It's not a place of judging us for our sins, since those have already been dealt with on the cross.  Rather, it's a time when our work is examined and rewards will be given accordingly.  This is a crucial doctrine to master, because once you begin to have the revelation about how everything we do here in this life is either building up treasures in heaven or subtracting from our reward, then you'll be very purposeful in how you live.  And this is why the doctrine of eternal judgment is one of the foundational doctrines of the faith.
