God's family are chosen (adopted) temporary residents on earth. Because our eternal inheritance is in Heaven, our family is scattered abroad.  We have family everywhere!  This teaching is a reminder of our adoption and how that should affect our mindsets as people of God.

Other than the American Civil War there may not have ever been a more divisive and hate-filled time than the one we are living in right now.  But Jesus calls us to love even when the love of many others has grown cold.  As Christ followers, our love must endure to the end.  But part of walking in the love of God during divisive and turbulent times will require we be at rest and peace in God's love ourselves so we can pass that peace and love on to others.  Learn in this teaching how to maintain our peace in stressful times, and why doing so is an important sign of those who are prepared to meet Christ face-to-face some day.

God's Word has the power to radically transform lives.  It is God's primary tool of renewal and guidance of His children.  Those who ignore God's Word or take it lightly will suffer for it, but those who consume it regularly and then apply it to their lives will be greatly blessed in every area of life.  This teaching expounds upon how the Bible can be validated as being truly inspired by God, and how it can be used to undergo the metamorphosis God has in mind for His children.  A person truly prepared for Christ's return will have a high commitment to consumption of the Word of God.

This teaching addresses the vital importance of regular church attendance to a local fellowship in the life of the believer, but it also addresses various heart issues for why people don't make church a higher priority in their lives.  There's something for everyone in this teaching, even if you already attend church regularly, because this teaching is preventive medicine, shining the spotlight on subtle heart issues that can make people begin drifting from God -- and thus the church -- little by little.  

FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WORLD: Preparing for Christ‘s Return, pt. 2

This is a teaching that resulted in 3 people coming to Christ and numerous already-saved people asking for prayer for strength in overcoming various compromises.  In this second teaching in the series where we are examining the 7 signs of being unprepared for Christ's return, we turn our attention to James 4:4 and other passages where scripture tells us that friendship with the world is hostility toward God.  Many in the Body of Christ are trying to be married to Christ while maintaining their adulterous relationship with the world, and those who are trying to live that way need to heed the warning of Christ, that that lukewarmness will result in being spewed out by Jesus.  Learn in this teaching how you can tell if you are still trying to maintain a friendship with the world and what to do about it.
