In keeping with our goal in this series to discuss social topics in church that most churches won't address, this teaching tackles how we as Christians should view the ideology and methods of political correctness and the "woke" culture.  The woke culture claims to address social injustice, yet in doing so they perpetrate their own brand of injustice.  The Bible indeed provides instruction on how we are to view these methods, as well as how we should be addressing society's various social problems.  This teaching takes on Black Lives Matter, transgenderism and discrimination against women, hatred against police, and much more.  It's another truth grenade in our "Untouchables" series.

ONE RACE -- Addressing the Two-Way Street of Racism from a Biblical Perspective: The Untouchables, pt. 4

If we are to properly and effectively deal with the problem of racism in our society, we have to recognize three things: First, racism is a two-way street; it's not just whites against blacks, but also blacks against whites.  Secondly, we need to understand that in God's Kingdom there is no such thing as race or nationality, because we are all children of God who are equal in His sight.  And thirdly, the problem originates from a heart full of pride and elitism.  If we can get those three truths in our hearts, we can go a long way toward effectively addressing racism.  In this teaching, Pastor Andy expounds upon the Biblical perspective on those three points, and in doing so also incorporates videos from two black leaders in the fight against racism, Larry Elder and former police officer Brandon Tatum.  This teaching is an "untouchable," because racism addressed the way this teaching addresses it is considered politically incorrect by a lot of people.  So prepare to get a slightly different perspective on this issue.  

GOD'S STRUCTURE FOR THE HOME: The Untouchables, pt.3

This teaching is an "untouchable" -- something that is not often taught in today's churches -- because it is potentially offensive to people who have been influenced by society's version of manhood and femininity.  But with a divorce rate of 13 every second in the U.S., perhaps we need to re-think some things and return to God's structure for the home.  Be prepared to be challenged to step up our game as men and women of God in the home and the church.  

THE "S" WORD: The Untouchables, pt. 2

God is the creator of sex, and as such He has a plan for sexuality that is good, healthy, and pleasing.  However, this topic has been missing from the platforms of many American churches in recent years.  Many people in the church have only vague ideas of what is good and holy when it comes to sex, and what is evil.  Our perverse society seems to dictate the ideas about sex now rather than the Word of God even among many churchgoers.  And the terrible damage that has come out of the lack of Biblical training on this topic is evident in the soaring divorce rate in America, the epidemics of sexually transmitted diseases and pornography addiction, the escalating suicide rate among certain groups of people, and the rampant sexual sin even in the church.  God's commands regarding sex and marriage are not ambiguous; they are very clear.  And after this teaching you will be clear on it, too.  But it's not bad news; it's GOOD news!  If you do things God's way, you will avoid the landmines that so often do such terrible damage in people's lives, and instead walk in God's blessing and favor!  

THE UNTOUCHABLES: Things You're not Supposed to Talk about in Church. Part 1, Abortion

The ancient practice of child sacrifice to the pagan god, Molek, is still alive and well today, just in a different form.  The practice of abortion has claimed the lives of 60 million children since 1973, and this teaching focuses what the Word of God says about this.  In doing so, we get a fresh perspective on a fundamental principle of life in Christ found in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Galatians 2:20 and other passages, which is that our lives are not our own anymore, and our thinking and behavior must be conformed to what He says if we want to have fruitful and joy-filled lives.  

Christ Our Passover

This Resurrection Day message is not the typical one you might hear taught at Easter, because it is based on an Old Testament passage in Exodus that actually points prophetically to what would be fulfilled 2,000 years later in Jesus.  This teaching is a very clear presentation of the Gospel message, establishing Jesus as the fulfillment of Passover and the only way to be reconciled to God through the shedding of His blood.
