Did you know that both the Bible and science agree that words have creative power to change one's present reality eventually?  It seems as though much of today's Church either doesn't believe this very Biblical concept, or else they have never even heard it taught.  So before you make a judgment one way or the other about the "name-it-and-claim-it" gospel, or whatever other name it's being called, give this teaching a listen and come to your own conclusions.  

Our special guest Dana Sarver delivered a timely and powerful word about how to sail through trials with a winning attitude that results in reward. She opened up with a prophetic word specific to BLF, but the rest of the message is timely and strengthening for any and every believer who has ever wondered why they are experiencing what they are going through.  Prepare to be strengthened and encouraged!   

Did you know that up to 95% of visits to primary care physicians are for stress-related disorders?  Yet the Bible commands the people of God countless to times to "not fear" and to "not worry."  Why then are so many of God's people locked in the same cycles of stress and worry as the rest of the world?  It's because we have not yet learned to cast our cares upon Him.  A heart that is truly trusting God is a heart at peace, but we will have to learn to "labor to enter the rest," which is what this teaching is all about.  

History records that Christians in the first three centuries of the church walked in the supernatural with such regularity that miracles were commonplace, and those miracles were instrumental in the Church overtaking the Roman empire eventually.  But faith for the miraculous has now waned in modern times to such an extent that few people really expect to operate in miracles or see the power of God manifest in any tangible way.  But we are coming into a season where the supernatural will once again be a requirement in order for the Church to not only survive in this culture, but to indeed rise and once again affect the culture in profound ways.  In this third teaching on walking by faith, we look at why God calls us to walk by faith and not by sight.  

Did you know there's a difference between faith and belief?  It's a subtle difference, but one that can have a big impact on the outcome of our prayers.  We also need to understand whether or not any lack of results in prayer is a lack of faith or simply unbelief, or doubt.  Again, the difference might seem subtle, but these are the things we need to know if we are to walk in strong faith that gets results in prayer.  

There are only two ways to live in this world: walking by faith, or walking by sight.  Second Corinthians 5:7 says that as followers of Christ we are to walk by faith and not by sight.  Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please God, and Romans 14:23 says that whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.  With those verses in mind, we can see that walking by faith and not by sight is one of the most fundamental and basic doctrines in scripture, yet very few Christians know how to live by faith beyond the initial step of believing in Jesus.  This teaching kicks off a new series where we discuss the life of faith.  

During the 10-year anniversary celebration at Blessed Life Fellowship, several people stood up to testify of God's work in their lives through the BLF ministry.  Mark and Juli Suverkrup, Jack and Carri Worton, Tom and Gayle Passo, and Faye Piercefield all speak on this short recording.  

In this teaching offered by Gregg Jackson at BLF's 10-year anniversary celebration service, we are encouraged to endure to the end of the journey that God has mapped out for each one of us, even if the journey doesn't always look like we thought it would.  The key word here is TRUST, letting go of the steering wheel and allowing God to drive.  At the end of his teaching, Gregg also offers some prophetic words to certain individuals, which is included here in this recording.  

In one of the longer and more impassioned sermons by Pastor Andy, this message is encouraging in the sense that it highlights how God wants to send times of refreshing to His people, but challenging in the sense of what God requires for those times of refreshing to come.  It also deals with breaking strongholds, fasting, and why obedience brings breakthrough.  

Will 2020 be a year of breakthrough for you, or more of the same?  Many prophetic voices in the Body of Christ have been saying that 2020 will be a year of great change in our government and for many people throughout the Church.  And while the possibility is certainly there for breakthrough in a variety of ways, it's also true that many people will fail to experience any great change in this next year.  This teaching by Pastor Andy, which includes a prophetic word by Pastor Donna, is devoted to how we can position ourselves to be in the flow of what God is doing now and throughout the New Year.
