If you have become discouraged in your walk with God, frustrated that you can't seem to get past mental or emotional issues or besetting sins, this teaching is for you.  In becoming more Christ-like, we have to understand that our process of sanctification is a partnership between us and God.  We cannot do what God must do, and God will not do what we should do.  And one of the most important things we should do is learn to be led by His Spirit.  What's that you say?  You don't know how?  Think again.  If you are in Christ, you are ALREADY ARE led by His Spirit.  You just need to learn to recognize it.  Forget yesterday.  TODAY IS DAY ONE OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!  

Some people in the modern Church feel that life in the New Covenant frees them from any sort of law or expectation.  While the Scriptures are clear that we are indeed free from the Law of Moses, that does not mean we are not under any sort of law at all.  There are expectations for the New Testament believer under the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ.  This teaching provides some guidelines for New Testament living, most particularly that of learning to be led by the Spirit in every aspect of life.  

Many Christians are still worldly and don't even know it.  Many people even deal with past hurts in a worldly way in the hopes of never getting hurt again.  But any form of worldliness never ultimately works out well; it only brings more bondage and pain.  This teaching exposes worldly mindsets that hinder people's progress in overcoming habitual sins, insecurities, emotional baggage, and self-destructive mindsets, providing a solution to the problem of worldliness, and stopping it before it stops you.     

Did you know that as a child of God you no longer have any past prior to your new life in Christ?  Your sin is forgotten, and the terrible experiences you had in your past do not have to define you or affect you any longer.  But in order to benefit from this new identity, we have to develop a new mindset about who we are based upon what the Word of God says about us.  

In the previous teaching in this series we talked about how what Jesus has accomplished through redemption has set us totally free from Satan's control and domination.  In this teaching we deal with the question, "If that's true, then why am I still struggling?"  This teaching answers that question with three reasons why people do not fully take advantage of their freedom in Christ and overcome the works of the devil.  

Did you know that there is more to our modern understanding of redemption in Christ than most of us have ever imagined?  There are actually 4 different words in the Greek that refer to different aspects of redemption, but all four of those words were translated into English as a single word, redemption, robbing us of some of its Biblical meaning.  This first teaching in a new series is a great way to understand the benefits of Jesus' resurrection, and introduces how broad the concept of redemption actually is.  

Genesis 1:27 says that we were made in the image and likeness of God. If we were made in the image of God, and God is love, then our attitudes and behaviors should be reflecting the love of God in the world.  This teaching provides a point-by-point word study of 1 Corinthians 13 to help us better understand what the love of God looks like that has been shed abroad in our hearts.

God is the most powerful force in the universe.  God's nature is that of love.  It follows, then, that when we walk in the love of God, we walk in the power of God.  Learn how love can change everything in this teaching, whereas strife and bitterness can contaminate everything.

Using the example of Noah and his youngest son, Ham, this teaching enlarges upon the Biblical standard of how God's version of love does not broadcast the sins of others.
