Learn what it means to lean on the Word and character of God in petitioning Him for the fulfillment of your heart's desires.  

Jesus said if we abide in Him we could ask whatever we wish and it will be given to us.  It becomes vital, then, that we understand what it means to truly abide in Christ.  

There are six different ways to pray.  This teaching defines what prayer really is and then deals extensively with the prayer of consecration, and what a life of consecration looks like.  Borrowing imagery from the Song of Songs, the parallel of the Bridegroom wooing his Bride is compared to Jesus and His Church.  

The seventh piece of the Full Armor of God described in Ephesians 6 is not compared directly to any Romans armament, but since a Roman soldier had seven pieces of armor, and since Paul mentions seven weapons of spiritual warfare, the seventh -- prayer -- could be called by the one piece of Roman armor that Paul did not name, which was the lance or spear.  This last teaching in the series has three parts: 1) why the imagery of our weapons of warfare have a hint of violence associated with them, 2) a recap of all the spiritual weapons listed in Ephesians 6, and 3) dealing with why prayer seems like a one-sided conversation for a lot of Christians.  

What does the shoes of the preparation of the gospel peace refer to in Ephesians 6?  Does it mean being ready to share your faith?  Perhaps.  But the larger meaning will strengthen you in your walk with the LORD and equip you to handle any adversity that life throws at you.  

The Shield of Faith is described in Ephesians 6 as being the part of our spiritual armor that protects us from all the fiery assaults of the enemy.  This teaching provides insight on the Shield of Faith and how to use it to defeat satanic attacks against your mind, will, and emotions.  

This teaching builds upon the previous one in understanding the Word of God and how it is properly applied.  Using the imagery of the Roman soldier's sword, the Sword of the Spirit is a deadly weapon to the enemy of our souls if properly understood and applied.  

Do you need a Rhema word from God?  You don't need to chase down a prophet to get it.  Get your own Rhema word in the Logos Word of God.  The Loinbelt of Truth is the most important part of your spiritual armor.  

The understanding of our right-standing with God is both an offensive and defensive weapon in warding off demonic attacks against your mind.  A revelation knowledge of the believer's position of righteousness is one of the most important pieces of armament of the whole armor of God.
